New recruitment company to focus on graduate development.

An IT professional with 30 years' experience has launched a new recruitment company to fill what she says is a gap in the market for developing IT workers.

Dagmar Egen, who most recently worked as a national manager for Telstra's ICT subsidiary KAZ Group, says most IT employers are failing to develop their staff.

Her new company, AlphaJade, will recruit IT workers as well as provide career development services that include formal further education, technical training, mentoring, psychometric testing and exchange programs.

AlphaJade is also launching a graduate development program that will collaborate with the tertiary education sector, professional associations, training providers and mentors.
