SA.NET Launch

On the 6th of November, we attended the launch of SA.NET, an "ICT industry cluster which brings together local software companies to engage in co-operative activities, achieve collective competitiveness and develop new opportunities for Australia's software industry". What a turn out; over 150 people gathered at the Art Gallery to attend the launch! We heard from Brian Cunningham (Chief Executive of the Department of Trade and Economic Development) and Peter Watson (Director - Software & Services for Microsoft). Pre-Graduate Program - Apply Now!!

We are about to undertake the next round of our successful Pre-Graduate program.

The Pre-Graduate Program is designed to enable eligible students to gain full-time employment while completing their final year externally. AlphaJade will assist students on the program to gain additional skills relevant to their employer by means of a customized development plan, which will include the final year of their degree. Also included in the development plan will be Student Membership to the Australian Computer Society and relevant User Group participation.

Eligible students will typically have completed 2 years of a 3 year program or 3 years of a 4 year program. On selection, they will complete their final year, taking courses externally either fulltime or on a part-time basis along with the other components of their development program as selected in conjunction with their placement employer.
